One click. That’s all it took.

Can you imagine finding the love of your life in one click? We click and swipe all day long and your future life partner may be on the other side of your screen. Mary and Drew are two lovebirds who found each other in one click! (Joe and I have a somewhat similar story but that’s a blog post for another time!)

Meeting online through a dating site, these two weren’t looking for anything serious initially. The couple met for coffee on their first date, but a few amazing hours later, they were not ready to leave! They continued the date at a Greek restaurant.

Mary and Drew took their time in getting to know each other before making it official, but I can see why Drew was instantly attracted to Mary. A long time friend, she is vivacious, exciting, and has a laugh that fills up an entire room! She is giving and loving and puts her family and friends first. She is so deserving of an amazing loving partner and relationship and I’m especially thrilled she found this in Drew!

Knowing they wanted to waste no time in getting engaged and married, Drew asked Mary’s father for his blessing by the end of the year. Drew picked out the perfect ring for Mary, exactly what she wanted. She thought a proposal might happen at her birthday dinner, but he surprised her by popping the question at the end of a 5k run! At the location of their second date (and after running the entire 5k with the ring in his pocket), Drew proposed on a romantic dock in a small lake.

These two planned their wedding for October 12, 2019, at the St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Macon, Georgia, with a reception following at Thistlewood Farms. I would have loved to be there in person but I was in Maui getting married at the same time. The pictures were beautiful and I wish Mary and Drew all the luck and happiness in the world!
