The Historic Holden Marolt Mining Museum

Located just outside of downtown Aspen, the Holden Marolt Mining Museum offers a glimpse into the area’s rich mining history. The site was once home to the world’s largest silver smelter, and today it’s a unique landmark surrounded by open fields and mountain views. Its rustic charm, wide lawns, and wooden structures made it an unforgettable backdrop for Michelle and Michael’s welcome celebration.

Western Style and Mountain Details

Michelle wore a chic white vest with a lace skirt and a western belt, a stylish nod to Aspen’s mountain-west vibe. Guests joined in the fun by wearing cowboy hats and western-inspired outfits. The atmosphere was casual and lively, a perfect reflection of the couple’s fun, free-spirited personalities.

Food, Drinks, and Sweet Treats

Guests enjoyed incredible food throughout the evening. Charcuterie boards set the tone, followed by fresh sushi made on the spot. To end the night on a sweet note, Red Fox Aspen served frozen yogurt, which was a huge hit. My personal favorite was the watermelon sorbet. The event was thoughtfully planned by Kemp and Co Collective. Every detail came together beautifully, creating a relaxed and welcoming start to the wedding weekend.

Michelle and Michael’s Aspen wedding welcome party was just the start of a weekend full of joy.
