Billy and Beau’s Beaver Creek wedding was the perfect blend of refined style and heartfelt celebration. Set high in the Colorado mountains, their day began with getting ready portraits at a private villa. Their beloved Pyrenees mix, Harvey, was right by their side. I photographed these tender, quiet moments on black and white Ilford film, for a timeless, documentary feel.
A Ralph Lauren-Inspired Wedding Design
With planning by Bridget at Social Life Event Co. and florals by Kate at Plum Sage Flowers, every detail reflected Billy and Beau’s classic vision. Their aesthetic took cues from Ralph Lauren: elegant, tailored, and layered with texture.
Cocktail hour linens featured navy and hunter green plaid. Custom invitations included a drawing of Harvey and dark green pinstripes. Florals included white peonies, roses, lisianthus, and Queen Anne’s lace. Textural greenery added depth and softness.
Beaver Creek Wedding Deck Ceremony
Guests arrived by way of the Centennial Express chondola, a mix of gondolas and open chair lifts. The ceremony site, framed by evergreens and Gore Range views, was stunning. The ceremony itself was short, sweet, and intimate, just as the grooms had hoped.
Elegant Reception at Saddleridge
The reception took place at Saddleridge, known for its alpine charm and sweeping staircase. That staircase was covered in cascading greenery and white florals, one of the most striking floral installs of the day.
Guests wore tuxedos and formal gowns. Billy wore Canali. Beau wore Armani. Together, they brought elegance, grace, and joy to every moment.
