The evening before Eleanor and Sam’s wedding was filled with joy. They hosted an intimate wedding welcome party and rehearsal dinner at The Pinery at the Hill, a beautiful Colorado Springs event venue.

Wedding Welcome Party at a Colorado Springs Event Venue
This venue sits high above the city. From the terrace, guests could see both the skyline and the mountains. As the sun set, the light turned golden. Friends gathered outside, sipping cocktails and catching up. The mood was relaxed, yet full of excitement.
I captured the elegant guest fashion, the colorful drinks, and the warm laughter all around. We even found a few quiet minutes with Eleanor and Sam alone. These calm moments, just before the big day, always feel extra special. Of course, there were group photos, too, full of smiles and sweet reunions.

Why I Enjoy Photographing Wedding Welcome Parties and Rehearsal Dinners
Photographing events beyond the wedding day is such a gift. Rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, and brunches allow me to connect with the people who matter most to you. As a result, the wedding day always feels smoother. Everyone is more comfortable. And the images feel more personal.
If you’re planning a wedding weekend and looking for a Colorado Springs event venue, I’d love to help you tell the full story. From mountaintop views to heartfelt toasts, these moments deserve to be remembered. Reach out to me here.

“Mary Ann was not only easy and pleasant to work with, but she also brought such positive, creative, and fun energy throughout the entire process. I could go on and on about how much I enjoyed working with her, she was an absolute delight! If we lived in the same state, we would absolutely work with her for any future photography needs.
She has an incredible eye for detail and a gift for capturing meaningful, candid moments. Mary Ann goes above and beyond to ensure every aspect of your day or session is thoughtfully taken care of. She remembers the little things, handles them seamlessly, and if you’re like me, always thinking about every detail, she’s got you completely covered.
We love you, Mary Ann—thank you for taking care of us and preserving these memories so beautifully.” – Eleanor M.
