This past Monday was a beautiful early-Spring day to meet Brooke and Levi for Colorado graduation photos. Especially after all the snow we’ve had this March! Brooke contacted me at the end of 2020. We’ve been waiting for a nice day for quite some time!
Brooke is a recent graduate of Denver College of Nursing where she graduated with honors and her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree. She decided she wanted to be a nurse because she’s always wanted to work in healthcare. And she would like to pursue a nurse practitioner degree in the future.
In her spare time, Brooke loves hiking with her dog Levi, the most adorable golden retriever. I had so much fun photographing Levi during her shoot! I saved the squeaker from one of Sonoma’s chewed up dog toys and it was so helpful to get Levi’s attention (and tons of laughs, too). When taking your photos with dogs, I recommend neutral colored collars and leashes as well as a second person to assist. Fortunately for us, Brooke’s friend Anna was there to help out and hold Levi’s leash while I was photographing Brooke by herself. Since Anna also graduated with Brooke, it was the perfect opportunity to break out the champagne and group pics of the two of them!
If you are wanting Colorado graduation photos, now is a great time to inquire! Openings are available for spring and summer – the perfect time for photos! Lastly, check out another photo session I did at Daniel’s Park!
“Mary Ann was a pleasure to work with. She was so resourceful with locations and outfit guides, posing, and even with catching the attention of my over-eager pup. Mary Ann was extremely professional throughout the process. She makes you feel comfortable from the start. Mary Ann provided me with my photos fast and efficiently. She stayed in touch with sneak peeks and updates throughout the week. She is extremely talented. I will definitely use her again in the future for any milestones.” – Brooke T.
