I absolutely loved my time at The Hybrid Collective Conference in April and feel like I learned so much, and was so incredibly inspired. On the first day of the conference, I joined Kayla Barker’s modern beach destination wedding styled shoot, which boasted a beautiful mood board of shell pink, ballet pink, and soft ochre.
We started the the afternoon with a few flat lays included an invitation suite, shoes, jewelry, and boutonnières. Afterwards, we headed to the beach for tablescapes. And then finally, we photographed our beautiful models, Allissa and Jordan. I gotta admit, I loved the challenge of photographing in direct light. While not my first choice for “grandma shots” (smiling at the camera), I loved the direct light for artistic shots.
