Late October in the Rocky Mountains is beautiful! A light dusting of snow on the ground plus a few aspen trees that haven’t quite lost all their leaves made for a gorgeous backdrop! Photographing this stunning Devil’s Thumb Ranch wedding, accented with green and white, with Allison Easterling was a total dream!
Liz and Will have a snuggly, sweet kind of love, evidenced by their wedding full of intimate and charming moments. Seriously these two are beautiful! The bouquets were filled with white roses, lisianthus, hellebores, eucalyptus, and a bit of winter pine. I loved the pine and seeded eucalyptus groomsmen boutonnières, too! The snowcapped mountains provide such a majestic backdrop that a simple altar of greenery is perfection! One of the things I thought was really cool – Liz and Will were both at the 2017 solar eclipse in Charleston, SC (this is where Joe and I had our first date)! And lastly, I absolutely loved their subtle and elegant Lord of the Rings theme woven throughout the day.

“What can I say – Mary Ann is AMAZING! From our first video call, I knew she was the perfect person to photograph our wedding. During the engagement shoot, she was so kind, funny, and made us feel at ease. I was in love with our images from our engagement photos and knew that our wedding photos would be amazing as well. Well, our wedding photos were even better than expected! On wedding day – despite sideways rain and wind, Mary Ann and her second shooter made us feel at ease and had plans for all scenarios. They day ended up being sunny and amazing from the ceremony on, and our photos were INCREDIBLE! I cry everytime I go through our wedding photos!” – Kelsi M.
