Attending The Hybrid Co. conference in Florida was absolutely amazing! I can talk more about that in other posts. But when I found out it was on Amelia Island, close to Jacksonville, I reached out to my friend Ginger. We both moved to Jacksonville around the same time in the ’00s (and I left shortly thereafter). Taking Ginger’s beach family photos with her two girls, Rees and Ann Marie, was such a pleasure!
Ginger and I met in high school in the musical theater program. Performing silly musicals together was always so much fun. These included Into the Woods, Li’l Abner, Guys and Dolls, Camelot, plus a few more I’ve since forgotten. We danced, sang, acted, and had a great time!
So it’s no surprise that in 2016, we worked as hired entertainment showgirls for a corporate event! We had a blast and posed with an albino Burmese python. I have a fear of snakes and was internally screaming as I smiled with the snake around my neck. Scroll to the end of the post for those fun photos!

“Mary Ann is amazing! She has a client closet with beautiful and unique dresses to choose from and she provides guidance on color schemes for the family which I struggle with. Mary Ann did an excellent job at capturing candid moments. Despite the cold weather, she made the experience very fun for our three children. We are extremely happy with the way our photos turned out. We will be working with Mary Ann in the future.” – Nisha P.
