I was so excited when Jessica reached out to me to be her Colorado maternity photographer. Not only is this beautiful couple welcoming their first child in February, but Jessica is also a local Colorado photographer herself!
Jessica and her husband, Stephen, love to make each other laugh! They met through a mutual friend – the first gathering was a game night. Since there were so many people in attendance, Jessica didn’t notice Stephen right away. Their second outing was a Garden of the Gods hike, and that’s when sparks flew for these two! Jessica and Stephen recently celebrated their 4th wedding anniversary.
We met on a chilly, but sunny, December day at one of my fave spots, Guanella Pass. Since the top of the pass is closed in winter at 12k feet, we met at a few different meadows around 10k feet. I love this location for its majestic mountain backdrop and easy accessibility. Jessica was a champ in the snowy terrain. A tip and a secret – always bring coats to put on in between shots and…..with long dresses, wear leggings underneath for extra warmth!
