This recent Evergreen Colorado family photos session near Evergreen was a special one! I joyously captured Kaity’s maternity photos last summer, and now, with Kennedy Ann turning one, we got the whole family together again for some beautiful outdoor moments.
Embracing the Elements near Evergreen Colorado
We headed to a scenic spot near Evergreen, where the yellow aspen leaves still clung to the trees, and the mountain views stretched in the distance. It was chilly and windy, with the sun peeking out occasionally. Despite the brisk air, Kaity, Brian, their daughters Gemma and Kennedy Ann, and their adorable mini-Aussie, Brooks, kept the session light-hearted.
The weather didn’t stop us from having fun. They laughed, played, and embraced every moment as the wind whipped the girls’ hair around. Little beautiful Kennedy Ann stole the show with her smiles, while Brooks ran around keeping everyone entertained.

Kaity and Brian met in such a sweet way—at a wedding, thanks to a family military connection. They’ve since built a life full of outdoor adventures. Camping, hiking, and skiing are just a few of the activities they enjoy together. It’s no surprise that they were comfortable and in their element, even on a brisk day like this.
