There’s something truly special about being a springtime Highlands Ranch motherhood photographer. The soft blooms, the gentle light, and the warmth in the air all lend themselves beautifully to moments of connection. This recent session at the Highlands Ranch Mansion was no exception.

I had the joy of photographing Mar and her daughters, Danni and Sarita, for the third time. Over the years, I’ve captured their family in winter and fall. This year, we embraced spring. Seeing how much her girls have grown—from toddlers to school-aged—is one of the things I treasure most about my clients. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing familiar faces return and capturing each new season of their lives.

Springtime Motherhood Photos in Bloom
The Highlands Ranch Mansion grounds were filled with lilac bushes in full bloom. The soft hues of the lilacs and the golden sunlight made everything feel calm and unhurried—an ideal pace for a motherhood session. With sunshine and temps in the high 60s, it couldn’t have been more perfect.
Danni, now in 3rd grade, was curious and thoughtful. Sarita, age four, was playful and full of wonder. Together, they brought so much personality to the session. Their bond with Mar was so evident; it made for beautiful, candid moments.

Why I Love Being a Highlands Ranch Motherhood Photographer
Photographing mothers with their children is a gentle, meaningful kind of storytelling. Sessions like these are quiet love letters—celebrations of now. Whether it’s your first session or your fifth, it’s never too late to honor this chapter.
Thinking about your own springtime motherhood photos? I’d love to tell your story, too. Reach out to me here.
