Kansas City Family visits Colorado Springs!
I loved photographing Ute Valley Park family photos for Susy and her family this past weekend! They traveled to Colorado Springs for their 2021 family vacation! Although we had originally planned to meet at a different location, the intensely smoky skies changed our schedule! However, I think their photos turned out beautifully!
This blended family is fun and spunky! Susy, who is also a photographer, met her husband Scott a few years ago. She never thought she’d find someone to join her family, but Scott was a perfect fit! Susy’s son, Dylan, loves games and just turned 13. He loves The Walking Dead, too! I really enjoyed telling him some tales of my days as a zombie extra on the set of TWD. Susy’s daughter Arya is 8 and also a dancer who loves ballet! And she received an invitation to join the competition team at her dance school! Arya had no problems putting on her best and sometimes sassiest pose for the camera! Lastly, they have two cats name Macro and Flash (a little ‘tog humor) and a dog named Max.
This unique family loves spending time with each other! During the pandemic, they kept to their same routines like playing board games, doing art projects, and eating brunch. In the summer, they all love spending time at their lake cabin in Oklahoma.
Take a look at their gorgeous photos below! Also, fashion tip – white and cream dresses always look beautiful on camera! Susy had these beautiful lace dresses custom made for her and Arya just for our photos! I love how they are made from the same delicate lace, but with a slightly different style for each! Let me know here if you want to schedule your Ute Valley Park family photos!
“I absolutely love having our pictures captured while we are on our family vacations. I highly recommend Mary Ann Craddock if you are ever in the area to take your pictures….she’s amazing!!!!” – Katie L.
Hi! These photos are gorgeous. I was wondering if I could get some pricing for a family photoshoot at this location. These photos turned out great. Were they taken in the morning or evening? I love the light.
Where in Ute Valley Park were these photos taken? It’s stunning!!
Thank you! Near the entrance off of Vindicator Drive.
