The last Saturday in October was the first snow of the 2023 winter season, which made for a stunning The Manor House wedding! Kali and Nate weren’t expecting this much snow on their wedding day. But they were delighted at how beautiful the manor and grounds looked blanketed in snow.
Entering the manor, vines of Italian ruscus lined the stairs. With the ceremony moved inside, beautiful roses, carnations, mums, ammi, ruscus, and eucalyptus in autumn colors decorated the fireplace mantle. With the fire roaring behind Kali and Nate as they pledged their vows, the guests smiled, laughed, and cried. I think my favorite part of the evening was taking these two to the front of the manor. While snowflakes softly fell, I set an off-camera flash behind them to add dimension. Then I lit up the falling snowflakes with my on-camera flash. This might possibly be my new favorite night time, artificially lit photo!
