I’m super excited to share Maddie’s Highlands Ranch senior portraits! She is one of my Colorado ballet students and this is my third year teaching her! Also, Maddie is a 2022 senior at Denver School of the Arts. We met on a beautiful autumn day in Highlands Ranch at the same spot I photographed Maia’s senior portraits.
Maddie plans to attend the University of South Carolina next year! While at USC, she is considering both dance and literature for her majors. She has been dancing all her life and excels in all styles. For instance, this Nutcracker season Maddie will dance the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy!
We started the session in Maddie’s black dress with small white flowers – total 1994 vibes! Next, I photographed a few casual (and some dramatic) dance poses in her black jumpsuit dress (what we called the “witchy woman” dress). I saved my favorite outfit for last! Prettiest dress with the prettiest light! And lovely ruffle details, too!
