Saturday, June 4th, was a gorgeous day for the Elizabeth Hotel wedding! The day started off at this super chic music-themed hotel with a curated vinyl collection and extravagant signature suites.
I met this beautiful couple through a mutual Atlanta friend and I’m so happy we were introduced. Crystal and Robert share such a relaxed, easy love. Both of them have fun, easy-going personalities. The day started off in their bridal suite, a gorgeous space with a grand piano, bar, record player, and plenty of lounging space for their sweet pup Joey. I love starting off with details! And capturing the details that make a wedding day unique brings me so much joy. For instance, Crystal’s pink satin heels with a sweet bow were begging for lots of photos!
After Crystal and Robert were ready, they shared a First Look. Firstly, a first look is a wonderful way to settle any pre-wedding nerves before walking down the aisle. Secondly, it adds an extra opportunity for gorgeous portraits! The Elizabeth has a stunning spiral staircase near the entrance so we prioritized staircase portraits after the first look.
Fort Collin’s historic Old Firehouse Alley sits directly beside the hotel. And it was a perfectly unique spot for their ceremony, officiated by Robert’s daughter Katie. I especially loved the silver bells that each guest rung at the end.
The reception took place in the venue space directly beside the alley, the Magic Rat. Since it was connected to the hotel, it also had a retro design to the space. And it was a really fun spot to celebrate with Crystal, Robert, and their friends and family.
Thank you Crystal and Robert for trusting me to capture your day – it has been an honor! Similarly, if you are looking for a The Elizabeth Hotel wedding photographer, let me know here! Lastly, this wedding was featured in Brides & Weddings here.
