Meeting Caroline and Patrick for Boulder engagement photos was the highlight of my evening. Love stories often begin in the most unexpected places, and Caroline and Patrick’s tale is no exception. They met at Nacho Mama’s, a lively restaurant, in February 2017. Patrick was instantly drawn to Caroline, even though she wasn’t initially interested. Caroline, while mending a broken heart, gradually found herself charmed by Patrick’s persistence and genuine nature. After some playful texting and a memorable date to see “Beauty and the Beast” in April 2017, they have been inseparable ever since.
Meet Caroline and Patrick
Caroline loves to spend time outdoors, traveling, and indulging in true crime TV shows. A foodie at heart, her favorite dish is nachos—a charming nod to the place where their love story began. Born and raised in a suburb of Baltimore, she cherishes her close-knit family, including her two older sisters and four adorable nieces. Patrick, hailing from Bel Air, Maryland, shares Caroline’s passion for adventure and sports. As a devoted Baltimore Ravens fan, he enjoys golfing, playing pickleball, and savoring a good margarita with chicken wings.
Together they create a life filled with laughter, exploration, and their beloved golden retriever, Shelby. Shelby, the light of their lives, often joins them on their adventures, whether it’s hiking, exploring new breweries, or embarking on long road trips to national parks.
Their proposal was an intimate moment, just the two of them and Shelby, at a cozy hotel in Ocean City, Maryland, on the eve of Caroline’s 30th birthday. And the vibrant backdrop of Ocean City, with its bustling boardwalk and serene beach, provided the perfect setting for this couple.

Now back to their engagement session near Boulder…..it was the oddest weather evening. We got lucky with a two hour patch of mostly sunny skies sandwiched between massive storms and wild lightning. As they prepare to say “I do” at Arrowhead Golf Club in September 2024, Caroline and Patrick are savoring every moment of their engagement.
