I was so excited to meet sweet friends, Madeline and Jacob plus their two boys, for Denver mountain family photos. We chose the second-to-last weekend in October and I think we got lucky. Despite winds blowing many autumn leaves off the trees, there was just enough fall color at one of my favorite local spots. However, with cold temps and potential snow in the forecast this upcoming week, I’m betting that this was probably the last pretty fall weekend!
What was so special about this session is that we met at the same spot where Madeline and Jacob eloped just over two years ago. At the time, we had a tiny baby Fletcher in tow. But now, he’s a thriving two and just as toddler-y as you’d expect! Last fall, I photographed this sweet family when Madeline was pregnant with baby Forrest. I’ve loved getting to know this sweet couple and family over the past two-plus years. But one of my favorite things is seeing how much Madeline’s confidence has grown – motherhood looks fabulous on her!

“From my initial contact with Mary Ann, her positive energy and enthusiasm for helping our family obtain the photos that would fit the needs and requests of my daughter for her Sr. pics was apparent. She worked hard to capture not just great scenery and smiles, but also her individual personality, which we all loved and greatly appreciated! Mary Ann was also amazingly skilled at incorporating the family dog into the photos. From being flexible with special requests, to kindly working through obstacles specific to meet our needs, Mary Ann exceeded all my expectations and the product of her work was extraordinary.” – Laura F.
